Night sweats menopause and hot flashes (or hot flushes) are mostly caused by hormone imbalance. Around the age of 40 to 50, your estrogen levels begin to drop. It can happen earlier or later...it depends on your health condition.

When your estrogen levels drop to the point that they no longer signal the uterine lining to thicken and gather blood, your menstrual flow or period becomes less and more irregular...until it stops altogether.

There is a section in the brain called the GnRH center located in the hypothalamus that monitors the levels of both estrogen and progesterone.

When the levels of these hormones goes down, the GnRH center stimulates the pituitary to make hormones called FSH and LH, and this results in the production of estrogen and progesterone in the ovaries.

When the levels of estrogen and progesterone go up, it inhibits the production and activity of the GnRH center.

When you reach menopause stages or experience hot flashes and night sweats menopause, your levels of estrogen go down 40% or 60% and progesterone levels go down to almost zero.

During menopause and systems of menopause. your ovaries no longer respond to the FSH and LH prompt. This means you no longer ovulate. According to Dr. John R. Lee, "when your ovaries no longer respond to the hormones FSH and LH by ovulating, the hormone signaling system goes awry".

The hypothalamus becomes overactive by constantly telling the pituitary to tell the ovaries to ovulate...

The inability of the ovaries to perform could be caused by the final depletion of eggs and their surrounding follicle cells.

According to Dr. John R. Lee, "when the hypothalamus and pituitary are both overactive, these signals begin affecting adjacent areas of the brain, which we call the vasomotor center (specially the arcuate nucleus of the hypothalamus that controls capillary dilation and sweating mechanisms or perspiration)".

These are typically the women that get hot flushes (hot flashes) and night sweats menopause. Women that experience these symptoms also tend to have mood swings, chronic fatigue and feelings of being cold or hypothyroidism.

For women - and men - to remain healthy, consistent levels of progesterone are needed. Without the correct levels of progesterone, you will experience several unpleasant hormone imbalance symptoms that can affect your health and your life.

Estrogen and progesterone need to oppose and balance each other to support women's health!

When progesterone levels drop to almost zero, you can experience a long list of unpleasant menopause symptoms like fatigue, allergies, arthritis, osteoporosis, hot flashes, night sweats menopause and many more.

Using herbal supplements for menopause and natural progesterone cream supplementation is your best solution to solve night sweats menopause and to deal with menopause stages.

When we have symptoms of low progesterone, we become estrogen dominant. Estrogen dominance does not mean that you have too much estrogen, it simply means that estrogen no longer is balanced by progesterone and estrogen levels are higher than progesterone.

When estrogen is not correctly balanced by progesterone, you are more at risk for endometrial cancer and for breast cancer (increased risk for breast cancer has been linked to high levels of estridiol, one of the body's estrogens). Estrogen changes cell membrane function such that sodium and water influxes into body cells, while potassium and magnesium are lost from cells.

This results in intracellular edema or bloating and water retention. Estrogen is also responsible for cellular retention of copper and loss of zinc. When this hormone is not balanced by progesterone, the cellular changes cause you to have mood swings, loss of concentration plus various aches and pains.

Use natural progesterone supplementation or BHRT to eliminate hot flashes and night sweats menopause and systems of menopause.

When using natural progesterone, you can treat and prevent hormone imbalance which can cause menopause symptoms such as:

• Irritability,

• Vaginal dryness,
• Osteoporosis,

Make sure you use natural progesterone cream supplementation that contains at least 400 milligrams of progesterone per ounce to have good results with night sweats menopause.

Some creams on the market that contain as little as 10 milligrams an ounce are not very effective and unlikely to give you good results during menopause stages.

Massage 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of cream two times a day to any of the following areas: hands, belly, inner arms, neck, face, thighs, buttocks and breasts until absorbed, alternating application sites.

Use for 21 days or as needed. Discontinue for 7 days (when you are having your period) and repeat every month. If you use the natural progesterone cream before you go to bed, it can have a calming effect and help you sleep better.
